Jaguar Land Rover is investing £250 million to transform its Halewood plant into an all-electric facility, aiming to cut carbon emissions by 40,000 tonnes. The upgrade includes 750 robots, advanced driver-assistance systems, and a new body shop capable of producing 500 vehicles daily, with plans for electric models by 2030. The facility will also support the UK’s zero-emission vehicle mandate, effective 2024, as JLR targets carbon neutrality by 2039.
